St Leonard's Church,

Turners Hill

West Sussex

St Leonard's has eight cast bells dating from 1924. All were installed when the tower was erected in 1925 as a war memorial to those men from Turners Hill who gave their lives in World War One. There are a number of original battlefield crosses displayed inside the tower which may be of interest to any military historians.

Ringing practice is every Tuesday between 7.15 and 8.15 pm. There is no age limit - so long as you are tall enough to pull the ropes! We are a friendly band and ring for fun rather than for competition.

If you fancy having a go at bell ringing, call Andrew on 01342 719377
