St Leonard's has a hugely successful Monday afternoon Sunday School for 7 to 9 year olds. Kids@stleonards is a structured club that collects children from the village school and operates  a 'walking bus' to the church hall. Here the afternoon activities start with a short prayer and then tea. The children need no encouragement to sit and enjoy a variety of wholesome sandwiches and cakes before their free playtime begins. The parish priest helps with the planning and organisation and is assisted with seven adult helpers. The Old Testament has provided some wonderful stories, interspersed with themes from the Church year. The final session often includes arts and craft activities related to the theme of the day.
